The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair from the United States, James Warlick, said that Washington fully supports the introduction of the OSCE investigation mechanism to verify the allegations of ceasefire violations along the line of contact of Azerbaijani and Armenian troops.
"We urge Azerbaijan to accept mechanisms that would help de-escalate tensions and, most importantly, avoid civilian casualties. We also urge Armenia to accept Azerbaijan’s public calls for a genuine negotiation process under the auspices of the Minsk Group Co-Chairs that could lead to a lasting, peaceful settlement," Trend cited Warlick as saying.
