The Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation provides one of the best organizations of the World Cup series, Kazakh athlete Nariman Kurbanov said, speaking with the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza after performing exercises in the vault in qualifications at the FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku.
"The organization of the World Cup in Baku is one of the best I've ever seen. I like the gym very much, it's great. We have been here since the beginning of the month - we arrived to Baku for the two week training camp, lived in a complex, and now we moved to a hotel and compete in the tournament. Out training, thanks to the Baku conditions, was successful," he said.
The athlete stressed that due to the fact that Azerbaijan pays great attention to the development of gymnastics, Kazakhstan is extremely interested in cooperation with AGF. "I think our federation will gladly cooperate with the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, and it will be a huge positive for our gymnastics," Nariman Kurbanov expects.
"Our opponents from Azerbaijan are a rather young team, but they are excellent guys and I think in the near future they will be able to be a worthy competition to the best gymnasts of the world," he said.
