OPEC Secretary General speaks about meeting of oil producers

The OPEC Secretary General has told about the upcoming meeting of oil producing countries in Doha on April 17th. All OPEC members will be invited to the meeting, he said.

The Secretary General noted that firstly all the parties will agree on the "freezing" of oil production. Then oil producers will discuss the reduction of oil production. According to him, it will contribute to the stabilization of oil prices. Thus, they will grow and reach a "normal", but not a high level.

It is expected that Iran will also participate in the meeting in Doha, but it might not support the arrangements of other oil producing countries, Tass reports.
