The case of Valery Permyakov, who is charged with killing the Avetisyan family in Gyumri, has been handed over to Armenia for investigation, Russian Investigative Committee’s official representative, Vladimir Markin, said.
“In order to hold Permyakov criminally liable for the murder of seven Armenian citizens, in accordance with the agreement between Russia and Armenia on jurisdiction and mutual legal assistance regarding cases related to the Russian military base in Armenia, the criminal case against Permyakov was sent to competent bodies of the Republic of Armenia that will take a relevant decision, “ TASS cited him as saying.
Yesterday, Permyakov received 10 years in a high-security prison.
