Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin and US Secretary of State John Kerry didn't discuss the participation of Syrian President Bashar Assad in the presidential elections during their meeting on December 15.
According to Peskov, this information is not true. "At the meeting with US Secretary of State the prospects of a political settlement in Syria were discussed," the representative of the Kremlin said.
