Polad Bulbuloglu: art gives strength for moving forward

The Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory held a gala concert, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Russian Charitable Foundation 'Russian Performing Arts'.

Honored Art Worker of Russia, President of the foundation Valery Vorona awarded the ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu the anniversary medal dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the organization.

Vorona noted the significant contribution of Bulbuloglu to the development of Russian and world art.

In response, Bulbuloglu expressed his gratitude to the head of the organization."You know, 25 years ago, many people were confused and did not know what to do. There were very few people like Valery Iosifovich, who nevertheless realized that it was necessary to establish funds and awards, so that the public, especially the musical community, could pursue their ideals," he explained.

At the same time, the ambassador stressed that he was one of those who saw the formation of the organization at that very difficult time. "After 25 years it's easy to rejoice in successes and grieve for bad luck, but at that time it was very difficult to do something. And I want to thank those people who have been engage in it," Polad Bulbuloglu said.

In addition, he shared his memories of Mstislav Rostropovich's visit to Baku. "It was a musical, human and public holiday. Because communicating with great people gives strength, gives energy for moving forward," the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza cited him as saying.
