Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated employees and veterans of the Interior Ministry on their professional holiday.
The head of state noted that "law enforcement officers need to have impeccable professional and personal qualities, profound knowledge and excellent training," adding that it is they who "protect people’s peaceful life and tranquility, and fight violations of the law, corruption and terrorism."
In addition, he said that "it is necessary to actively develop and put into practice modern technologies, improve the methods of preparation and training of personnel."
