There is a gorgeous arena for international gymnastics competitions in Baku, the Uzbek gymnast Sabina Tashkenbaeva said, speaking with the correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza after performing with a hoop and a ball at the first day of the qualifications of the FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup in Baku.
"The National Gymnastics Arena in Baku is gorgeous. I like it here very much, all the organizers are very kind. And such a great support from the audience - it is much easier when they support toy like that," she said.
In addition, Sabina Tashkenbaeva liked theatrical light in the arena. "I want to thank the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation for organizing the tournament - everything I saw was very good," the Uzbek gymnast stressed.
The FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup will be held in Baku on April 28-30. Participation of 94 gymnasts from 21 countries is expected in the event, 37 of them will perform in the individual program, while 57 gymnasts will take part within the teams of group exercises. Athletes will compete for 8 medal sets.
