The Italian company Saipem, which was to have been engaged in laying the Turkish Stream gas pipeline project, has filed a lawsuit against a subsidiary of Russia's Gazprom.
"Saipem S.p.A. submitted a request for arbitration against the South Stream Transport BV (100% subsidiary of Gazprom) to the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris on November 10, 2015. The amount of the claim is approximately 759 million euros," Interfax cited Saipem's documents as saying.
