The Former First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Kirghiz SSR, Turdakun Usubaliyev, has died at the age of 96, the press service of the government said.
Turdubakun Usubaliyev was born on November 6th 1919. He graduated from the Kyrgyz State Teacher Training Institute in 1941. From 1961 to 1985 he was the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kirghizia.
Turdakun Usubaliyev received 3 Lenin Orders, the Labour Red Banner Order and the Order of Friendship. He had the title of Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic.
