A two-time world champion in Thai boxing, Valdet Gashi, who left his home in Germany to join up with the so-called Islamic State (IS) terrorist organization, has died in Syria, RUDAW reports.
According to his brother, Gashi was shot dead on July 4. IS has employed him to patrol an area near the Turkish-Syrian border.
