The famous film and theater actor, People's Artist of Russia, Valentin Gaft, turned 80 today.
Valentin Gaft was born on September 2nd 1935 in Moscow, he graduated from the Moscow Art Theatre School. During his lifetime Gaft has acted in more than 100 films. The actor was awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland (III), he is a winner of the International Stanislavsky Award and the Golden Eagle Award, RIA Novosti reminds.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Valentin Gaft on his birthday.
