Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's schedule in Turkey

An intergovernmental agreement between Russia and Turkey on annulling
the bilateral visa regime for tourists planning to stay for less than
a month will be signed within the framework of Medvedev's visit to
Ankara 11-12 May, Turkish media report.


Media reports also mention that a top-level council will be
established. This will be the start of the three-stage road map of
Ankara-Moscow ties, involving political and trade aspects and
cooperation between NGOs.


The council will be headed by Medvedev and Turkish Premier Recep
Tayyip Erdogan and will see over 10 bilateral agreements signed. Among
them will be an intergovernmental agreement on nuclear power plant
construction and exploitation in Turkey and cooperation in the sphere
of energy, RIA Novosti reports, citing a source from the Russian
delegation.
