According to US intelligence agencies, Iran does not carry out work necessary to do before the testing of nuclear weapons.

The information is included in the Annual Threat Assessment.

The document states that to date, no procedures related to the nuclear weapons' development have been recorded in Iran. No actions are taken in the country to create a device that would be ready for testing, RIA Novosti reports.

Iran ramps up uranium enrichment
US intelligence agencies note that, in the absence of a nuclear deal, Iran may begin to enrich uranium to 90%. This is a level sufficient to create nuclear weapons. The only way to stop Tehran is to ease sanctions.

Tehran agreed with the IAEA
Earlier, the IAEA Director General visited Iran. As a result, Rafael Grossi said that the agency and Tehran were ready to sign an agreement that would help to revive the deal on the Iranian nuclear program (JCPOA).

In general, the parties reached an agreement to continue constructive cooperation, including in the framework of clarifying the situation when the uranium particles enriched to almost 84% were found at the facility in Fordow.

The Iranian side argued that uranium enrichment was carried out only to the permitted level, and the appearance of such particles in small quantities is natural and due to technical features.

Iran increases uranium production
A month ago, it became known about the start of the development of a new uranium deposit in the central Iranian province of Yazd. At the launch ceremony, the main goal was announced - to expand the nuclear energy production and to develop the nuclear industry.
