Yerevan reports on Azerbaijani, Armenian Foreign Ministers meeting

Ararat Mirzoyan announced the preparation carried out for a meeting with Jeyhun Bayramov. The foreign ministers of the two countries were supposed to meet in Moscow in December 2022, but the Armenian side did not attend the talks.

A meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan is being prepared. The summit will take place in the near future, head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry Ararat Mirzoyan said.

The heads of the Foreign Ministries of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia were supposed to hold a trilateral meeting in Moscow in December 2022. However, the Armenian side refused to come to the Russian capital and the negotiations were held without the participation of Yerevan’s representative.

According to Mirzoyan, the negotiation process between Azerbaijan and Armenia has not been interrupted, since Baku and Yerevan continue to maintain direct and indirect ties.
