A 3.8-magnitude earthquake occurred on the territory of Kazakhstan, tremors were registered by a network of seismic stations of LLP "Seismological Experimential Methodical Expedition" of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazinform reports.
As noted in the department, the earthquake was felt at 08:55 local time, the epicenter of the tremors was 43 km east of the city of Almaty.
It is emphasized that the energy class of the earthquake was approximately 9.2, and the MPV magnitude reached 3.8. The hypocenter lay at a depth of approximately 5 km. At the same time, no information about perceptibility was found.
