The European Union will be able to solve the refugee problem only with the help of Turkey, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said. "That can only happen with the support of our transatlantic partners, the United States, as well as with Russia and the Middle East," Merkel noted.
"The more clearly the parties will understand these challenges at national, European and global levels, the easier it is to respond to them," she added.
According to her, European countries have fully realized the extent of the problem and demonstrated unity in solving the refugee problem.
