Today is the sixth day of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Athletes will compete for 21 medal sets: canoe/kayak slalom, archery, cycling, rowing, shooting, gymnastics, judo, fencing, rugby-7, table tennis, swimming, women's water polo and men's volleyball.

Russia's Daria Vdovina will perform in women's 50m rifle 3 positions shooting competitions.

Russian women's water polo team will play Brazil at 15:00 MSK. The Russian volleyball team of Vladimir Alekno will play Team Egypt.

Azerbaijani judoka Elmar Gasimov will fight Russian Tagir Khaibulaev at Judo Men -100 kg Elimination Round.

Lyubov Shutova, Violetta Kolobova and Tatiana Logunova will represent Russia in the women’s team epee competition in fencing in the match against France.

Russia's Seda Toutkhalian and Aliya Mustafina will perform in the women's individual all-round in rhythmic gymnastics.

Russia's Yulia Efimova will compete in 200-meter breaststroke. Evgeny Rylov will represent Russia in the final round of the men's 200m backstroke at 04:26 MSK.

Russia's Dimitry Larionov and Mikhail Kuznetsov will compete in the men's canoe double slalom semifinal at 18:30 MSK. Marta Kharitonova of Russia will compete in the women's kayak single slalom semifinal at 19:15 MSK.

In Tennis Steve Johnson (the US) will play Evgeny Donskoy (Russia) at the men's singles third round. Daria Kasatkina (Russia) will play Madison Keys (the US) at women's singles quarterfinals, TASS reports.
