Lukoil’s President Vagit Alekperov is currently in Vienna for talks with the company’s partners from the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
"Today we shall meet the Saudis, tonight we will meet with the acting Iraqi minister and tomorrow with Iran," Sputnik cited Alekperov as saying.
OPEC members will convene in Vienna, Austria on Thursday to discuss a plan to freeze oil production, two months after the previous attempt failed amid Saudi Arabia’s reversal.
