'Rosneft' is completing yet another project in Ingushetia : this year a new kindergarten for 240 children with a swimming pool and a stadium for mini-football will be opened in the rural village of Ekazhevo.
The kindergarten is being built with the financial support of 'Rosneft' under the Agreement on cooperation with the republic. For this purpose, the oil company has allocated more than 200 million rubles, the official website of the head of Ingushetia reports.
Earlier, in the framework of the cooperation agreement between 'Rosneft' and Ingushetia new gas stations, a horse-riding school and a number of educational facilities were opened in the republic. A center providing education in oil and gas related professions was opened in Nazran.
The cooperation between 'Rosneft' and Ingushetia is carried out on the basis of the Cooperation Agreement, which was signed in June 2016 by the head of Ingushetia, Yunus-bek Yevkurov, and Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin within the framework of the 20th International Economic Forum in Saint Petersburg. The first cooperation agreement was signed in 2011, the sides signed an additional agreement in 2013.
The head of Ingushetia, Yunus-bek Yevkurov, told Vestnik Kavkaza about a fruitful cooperation between Rosneft and Ingushetia.
He stressed that several years ago “the oil and gas sector of Ingushetia, the so-called 'Ingushneftegazprom' was in a difficult situation: firstly, there were no proper logistics and management, and secondly, the company was on the verge of bankruptcy," he said.
Then, according to Yevkurov, the republic's authorities have studied the experience of other regions and came to a conclusion that only large state-owned company can cope with it. "Especially since we needed billions, and no big company wanted to be involved due to the disadvantages and security problems," the head of Ingushetia explained.
"We have decided to appeal to the then leadership of 'Rosneft' through the Government of the Russian Federation. And since then, we have been engaged in a good dialogue. And today we are pleased to see that Igor Sechin and "Rosneft" are successful in fulfilling their obligations and are helping the republic in developing our oil and gas sector," Yevkurov noted.
The head of the region told about the progress made thanks to its cooperation with 'Rosneft'. "Firstly, the production was reanimated, oil production is being increased, those wells which resources have been exhausted are being conserved," he noted.
"Further, the staff is being trained. One of the most advanced in the country equipment was supplied. The production and equipment fully meet the Rosneft standards," Yevkurov noted.
According to him, the most important thing is 'Rosneft's work in the social sphere. "Several schools, several kindergartens and a horse-riding school have already been built. This year funds were allocated for the construction of sports complex with a 600-seat ice rink and a youth leisure center. 'Rosneft' also supports the Angusht football club. More than 300 million rubles were also allocated this year to implement water supply projects," the politician stressed.
"We are sincerely grateful for this support, aid, and will do everything possible to provide the same assistance to the company in the territory of Ingushetia," Yunus-bek Yevkurov concluded.
