The Georgian-Czech business forum is being hosted by Tbilisi today. It was opened by the Georgian parliamentary speaker David Bakradze and the chairman of the Senate of the Czech Republic, Business Georgia reports.The forum was attended by representatives of 20 Czech companies operating in the fields of agricultural products, construction, energy and the financial sectors.

According to the U.S. Embassy in Georgia, on November 17 the U.S.Ambassador to Georgia John Bass and Georgian Energy Minister Alexander Khetaguri will examine work on the pipeline, Business Georgia reports. The U.S. has allocated $115 million for the construction of the pipeline in the framework of the 30-month U.S. project to develop theeconomy of Georgia, with a total budget of one billion dollars.
