Tremors of magnitude 3,4 were observed in the city of Sochi the day before.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km, its magnitude was 3,4 on the Richter scale, the Obninsk seismological station informed. The intensity of the phenomenon was 2-3 points, that is, it was practically not felt by people. Chandeliers could swing in some houses.
According to the region's Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, no one was injured as a result. There is also no infrastructure damage or destruction.
Sochi is in a seismic risk zone, tremors with a magnitude of 3 points are quite common in the region. There were no dangerous earthquakes at the resort.
