The Turkish President signed a protocol ratifying Stockholm's accession to NATO. Erdoğan also submitted this document to the Grand National Assembly.
The Turkish president called parliament to discuss the document on Sweden's accession to the North Atlantic Alliance, his administration distributed a corresponding message.
"President [Recep] Tayyip Erdoğan signed the protocol on Sweden's accession to NATO and submitted it to the parliament on October 23,”
– the press service informs.
According to the regulations, the document will first go to the International Affairs Commission. After consideration within this framework, it will be submitted for discussion to the parliament.
