Earthquake occurs on border between Dagestan and Azerbaijan

According to the press service of the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, tremors were recorded on the border of Azerbaijan and Dagestan.

An earthquake of magnitude 4.1 occurred at 03:11 near the Yarag-Kazmalyar checkpoint. The hypocentre of the tremors was located at a depth of 10 km.

No casualties or damage were reported. In Dagestan, there was also an earthquake 43 km from Derbent. The epicenter was the Magaramkent district.

In addition to this, at the same time, there were noticeable tremors in Kaspiysk.
