A large fire has claimed lives in Isfahan, one of Iran's central provinces, Mansour Shisheforush, the head of the provincial emergency department, announced.
The official stated the blaze originated on a production line inside a workshop located in an industrial zone.
"Unfortunately, nine workers in the workshop died as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning",
Mansour Shisheforush reported.
He added that the cause of the fire remains undetermined and an official investigation is ongoing.
