The investigation of the incident in Stavropol on the 25th of May will be finished by the end of the year, states the head of the Main Department of the Ministry of the Interior in the Northern Caucasus Region, Sergey Chenchik, reports RIA Novosti. A few months ago an explosion took place in Stavropol just before a concert by the "Vaynaj" vocal and dance company from Chechnya, in which 7 people died and 50 were injured.

Explosion in Dagestan

An explosion took place at 08:05 Moscow Time in the Kisilyurtovskiy region of Dagestan. No one was injured, reports RIA Novosti. The situation in Dagestan is still tense. As reported earlier, five gunmen were shot last night during a document check and a police car was attacked in the Buinakski region, leaving two policemen lightly injured.
