Ingush mosque highlighted for fight may be closed down

Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov said that people involved in the conflict at Nasyr-Kortovskaya Mosque should forgive each other or their mosque would be closed down, TASS reports.He ordered that executives conduct disciplinary work with the provocateurs of the conflict.About 10 people were injured in the conflict at the mosque on June 5. Six people asked for medical aid, a 17-year-old was hospitalized with concussion. The conflict was provoked by some decisions the mosque's imam made, the police say.

The leaders of the North Caucasus regions, led by presidential envoy in the North Caucasus Federal District Sergey Melikov, have congratulated their citizens on the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory.  Sergei Melikov in his official address to the citizens said: "The Great Patriotic War ended 70 years ago. It has become the most severe and the most heroic page in the history of the Russian people. For 1418 days millions of our fellow citizens struggled towards a common Victory, sacrificing everything they had, including their life".

Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov has congratulated veterans on the 70th Anniversary of Great Victory in an interview with Vestnik Kavkaza. In his words, the government must put special efforts into organizing the celebrations in light of the current political conjuncture. The North Caucasus is preparing for the anniversary, just as European leaders and the US are. Ingushetia makes 3-4 broadcasts on the national television and in other media, lectures are read in schools and other education centers. Buildings, streets and parks are being decorated.

Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov has launched the 'Relay of Good' charity campaign organized by the Tesham Charity foundation to help low-income families, Interfax-South reports.Yevkurov has become the first participant of the campaign. Everyone willing to partake in the campaign takes a family under patronage by symbolically passing the relay baton to the next participant. 154 families will gain support within the framework of the relay.

Stanislav Aristov, the head of the republican committee for tourism, said that guests were interested in the M-1 ‘Nart Battle’, ‘Battle in the Mountains’, ‘Dagger’ melee weapon festival and the ‘Ingushetia’ rally.Tourists are attracted by the Erzi Natural Park. Six power plants to be built in Ingushetia

Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov has discussed the construction of six power plants with the energy authorities of the republic with the attendance of Vice Prime Minister Hasan Chakhkiyev and Minister of Finance Ruslan Tsechoyev. Preliminary agreements on the patronage, supervision and characteristics of the project have been made with RusHydro.Last week, Yevkurov asked Russian President Vladimir Putin to maintain six small gas-piston generators for one and a half years to keep the region supplied with electricity using its own potential.
