Kremlin: relations between Russia and Iran should develop on upward

Iran's position on relations with Russia has not changed, despite the death of the president of this country, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

He stated that Iran was Russia's partner, as well as the country with which Moscow was developing the widest range of bilateral relations.

Peskov stressed that Russia was with the Iranian people in this difficult time. The press secretary also added that relations between the two countries should develop on the upward.
