Russia to continue helping South Ossetia
Russian Vice Prime Minister Alexander Khloponin said at a session of the Russian-South Ossetian intergovernmental commission for socio-economic cooperation in Moscow that Russia will continue supporting South Ossetia despite economic problems and Western sanctions, Kommersant reports.South Ossetia will have received over 9 billion rubles by 2017.Khloponin noted that attendees of the session discussed aid in socio-economic development and rounded up progress in 2012-2013. The vice prime minister added that the current state of relations were satisfactory.
