The hurricane raging in Krasnodar will move away on late Saturday. Forecasters predict better weather on Sunday.
Today, a strong hurricane is raging in Krasnodar, which, according to meteorologists, will move away only by the end of Saturday.
“Currently, the Unified Duty Dispatch Service has received 51 applications. In 48 cases, city residents reported trees blown down by the wind. Work has already been completed at 10 addresses. 42 rescuers and 10 pieces of equipment are involved in elimination of the hurricane consequences,”
- Head of Krasnodar Evgeny Naumov said.
Causes of hurricanes and their consequences
It is important to follow safety guidelines during a hurricane. It is necessary to stay indoors, away from windows, avoid going outside and do not get close to rivers and reservoirs due to the risk of flooding. Furthermore, it is essential to follow the instructions of emergency services and prepare adequate supplies of food and water in case of a power outage.
