Putin and Tokayev discuss energy cooperation

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev discussed during a phone call cooperation in energy and transportation between the two countries.

"The parties discussed topical issues of cooperation in trade and economy, energy, transportation and logistics," the Russian president's press service said.

According to the Kremlin, the leaders exchanged assessments on the results of "their recent contacts with foreign leaders."
