The head of Dagestan, Sergey Melikov, announced that the Lezginka State Academic Honored Dance Ensemble of Dagestan is among the recipients of grants from the President of Russia in the field of culture and art in 2023.
According to Melikov, earlier he turned to the head of the Russian state with a request to support the creative team.

Melikov said.
Lezginka is a State Academic Honored Dance Ensemble of the Republic of Dagestan. The ensemble was created in 1958 by dancer and choreographer Tankho Izrailov.
