BP to drill two wells at Shah Deniz-2 this year

BP drilled the SDC-02 well within the framework of the Shah Deniz-2 project in 2013 and started drilling the SDC-03 well which will be launched in 2014, abc.az reports.The Heydar Aliyev unit drilled the SDX-07Ay well in September 2013.Two wells will be drilled on the offshore structure in 2014. The Shah Deniz-2 project is worth $28 billion. A total of 28 wells will be drilled. First gas from Shah Deniz-2 will be available by the end of 2018. Gas exports to Europe will start in 2019.

BP has restored gas-pumping through the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum Pipeline, Trend reports.18.3 million cubic meters of gas are pumped to Turkey, 2.5 million cubic meters to Georgia, 5.4 million cubic meters to Azerbaijan.Pumping was stopped last weekend due to an accident on an oil and gas terminal in Sangachal.
