Russian President Vladimir Putin has lifted the VAT for flight tickets to Crimea. The VAT will no longer be collected for the tickets starting on June 1, 2014, Lenta.ru reports.The VAT for the tickets totals 18%.Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev proposed increase of the number of flights to Crimea and reduction of ticket prices to 7,000-8,000 rubles in late March.
