Yildiz said that Iran had refused to reduce the price.
Gazprom Export (Russia) has increased gas exports to Turkey to 48 million cubic meters daily using the Blue Stream Pipeline since the blast on the Eatsern-Anatolia Gas Pipeline, RBC reports.The blast happened near Agri on the noght of October 18-19. Botas requested Gazprom Export to increase gas shipments.Turkey imported 32 million cubic meters of gas daily before the blast.

Transit states of Nabucco have given political and legal approval of the project, Trend reports.The political committee of ministers met in Vienne (Austria) on October 8. Gazprom has boosted gas supplies to Turkey 60% due to an explosion along a gas pipeline that carries gas from Iran to Turkey, Interfax reports.Gazprom said in a press release that the Turkish company Botas had asked it to increase supplies along the Blue Stream pipeline until the other pipeline becomes operational again."On October 8th 2012, in keeping with a request by the Turkish side, Gazprom increased the volumes of export gas to Turkey from 30 million to 48 million cubic meters per day," Gazprom said.
The terrorist blast at the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum Pipeline halted Azerbaijani gas supply to Turkey, Trend reports.Gas pumping will be restored in 7-10 days.The blast happened at the Sarikamis District of Turkey’s Kars Province. Botas requested BP Azerbaijan to stop gas pumping on Thursday. Gas supplies from Shah Deniz to Azerbaijan and Georgia and to pumping stations of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Pipeline continue. The previous blast happened on May 29, 2012.

Four militants under command of Biaslan Gochiyayev have been sentenced to 1-8 years of prison in Karachay-Cherkessia, press secretary of the Supreme Court of the region Alibek Botashev said, RIA Novosti reports.Gochiyayev was a militant leader from early 2009 to December 7, 2011. His group includes Averyanov, Kipkeyev, Chotchayev, Temurlan Totorkulov, Urusov and Dlugoborsky.

The deal between Botas and Gazprom expires this month.Turkey and EPDK developed a bill allowing private companies to import gas in June. The companies will store 10% of total gas imported in the Turkish Oil and Gas Corporation in Silivri.

Turkey has paid off debts to gas importers for shortages. State company Botas paid $777 million to Russia, $721.5 million to Iran and $103.2 million to Azerbaijan according to the take or pay formula, Trend reports.Botas will continue using the formula to pay Iran for 5 more years and Russia and Azerbaijan for 4 years.

Requests for imports can be filed until August 10, 2012. Reports said that gold export from Turkey to Iran has doubled since March 2012. 60 tons of gold were exported from Turkey to Iran in March-May 2012.
