An exhibition platform for products manufactured in the Stavropol Territory will open in the capital of Iran.
The first samples of goods have already arrived in Tehran. The range includes Stavropol mineral waters, carbonated drinks, sweets, pasta, cheeses and milkshakes. The site will be opened with the assistance of a representative of the Stavropol Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
In 2023, the trading house of Stavropol may appear in the Iranian capital, the Ministry of Economic Development of Stavropol reported.
The region reoriented foreign trade from unfriendly countries to the East. In 2022, seven business missions were sent to Iran, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Mongolia and Egypt. Interested businessmen came to the Stavropol Territory from Iran, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, wishing to get better acquainted with local products and evaluate investment conditions. This week, Stavropol will host an international forum on import substitution.
There are about 10 factories producing water and carbonated drinks in the region. In the Stavropol Territory, there is also a city named Minvody. It is a popular health resort. In May, the resort will host the Caucasian Investment Exhibition, designed to help the development of the North Caucasian Federal District.
