Rusprodsoyuz: Türkiye is main supplier of tangerines to Russia

Rusprodsoyuz association Deputy Board Chairman Dmitry Leonov confirmed Türkiye's leading tangerines exporter status as of November 2025.

"The list of key suppliers of tangerines to the Russian market is traditionally topped by Türkiye with a share of more than 45%",

Dmitry Leonov said.

The top three largest suppliers of New Year's citrus fruits also include South Africa (14%), and China (13%), with additional imports originating from Egypt, Morocco, Abkhazia, and other countries.

Mid-December 2025 wholesale tangerine prices registered 17.4% year-over-year reduction, and amounted to just over 88 rubles per kilogram, Leonov added, TASS reports.
