Azerbaijan, Armenia work actively to strengthen peace

An aide to the Azerbaijani leader announced active efforts with Armenia to strengthen peace.

Azerbaijan and Armenia are working actively to strengthen peace in the South Caucasus, Hikmet Hajiyev, aide to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, said.

"The administration of US President Donald Trump has demonstrated a commitment to Azerbaijan's peace agenda. Trump's immediate response to the peace agenda deserves high praise... Both countries – Azerbaijan and Armenia – are working intensively to strengthen peace,”

– Hikmet Hajiyev said.

At the same time, he emphasized that some in Congress are introducing completely unnecessary legislation that sows discrimination.
