The leaders of Türkiye and the US will speak by telephone early next week. One of the topics discussed will be the Ukrainian peace process.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will hold telephone talks with his US counterpart, Donald Trump, in the coming days.
The conversation between the two leaders is scheduled for Monday, January 5.
The situation in the Gaza Strip and the Ukrainian peace process are expected to be discussed during the conversation.
"We will have a phone conversation with Trump on Monday. We will discuss both the Palestinian issue and the problem of Russia and Ukraine,"
- the Turkish head of state said.
