Uzbekistan Airways' updated ticketing policy allows domestic travelers to retain reservations for remaining flight segments, according to the company's updated ticket rules.
Now, if a passenger misses the first or any previous segment of their itinerary for any reason, their reservations for the remaining segments will be retained and the flight can be continued, Podrobno.uz reports.
Passengers receive no refunds for unused segments beyond airport tax reimbursement, with prohibited reissuance for alternative dates or flights.
However, the rules for international flights will remain the same: if a passenger fails to show up for the first or previous segment of their booking, all subsequent segments are automatically cancelled.
The airline characterized the adjustment as travel condition simplification measure.
