The comments talk about tremors in Anchor Gap this morning. One user claims that the house "trembled and creaked".
The epicenter of activity was located 8 km from Vardane and 27 km from Sochi. The hypocenter lay at a depth of 5 km. The magnitude was 3.6.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Center reported that the earthquake was recorded between Sochi and Tuapse at 8:09 Moscow time.
