Names of Iran riot victims to be published - Pezeshkian

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has instructed officials to publish the names of all those who lost their lives during the recent riots across the country, deputy for Communications and Information at the Presidential Office Mehdi Tabatabaei made the announcement in a post on his X account.

“By the president's order, the names and details of all victims of the recent tragic events will be published publicly,” Tabatabaei wrote.

He added that a mechanism has also been devised to accurately review and verify any contradictory information or statements.

The official said the move will be “a clear response to fabrications and data manipulation” regarding the terrorist incidents.
