Washington's naval blockade does not cover the entire Strait of Hormuz, General Dan Caine, Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, has stated.
He stated that US forces currently control only Iranian ports and the country's coastline.
"The US actions constitute a blockade of Iranian ports and coastline, not the Strait of Hormuz",
Caine said.
Enforcement measures will be carried out in both Iranian territorial waters and international waters, he emphasized.
