5 mobile migration centers open in Moscow

 Moscow acting Mayor Sergey Sobyanin has taken part in the operation of five mobile migration centers that have opened in Moscow today, ITAR-TASS cites head of the Federal Migration Service Constantine Romodanovsky.Olga Kirillova, head of the FMS Directorate of Moscow, said that one of the centers will operate at the Komsomolskaya Square.

 Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin is marking the 55th birthday, traditionally going on vacation. However, this year’s vacation may be different, because of the upcoming elections on September, RIA Novosti reports.Sobyanin was born in Nyaksimvol in the Berezovsky District of the Tyumen Region on June 21, 1958. He governed the Tyumen Region in 2001-2005 and became the head of the Russian Presidential Administration in Nocember 2005.

Co-chair of the Russian Mufti Council Nafigullah Ashirov said that Muslims will file a request to Russian President Vladimir Putin to build mosques, Russian News Service reports.Locals of districts where Muslims want to build mosques have been protesting against the construction plans. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said that the Cathedral Mosque was enough for the Muslim community. He recommended Muslims to use stadiums or open-air places for meetings.According to the mayor, only 10% of visitors of the Cathedral Mosque were Moscow residents.

 Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin says that Cossacks have the right to patrol the streets voluntarily. 57 Cossacks have volunteered so far, RIA Novosti reports.Moscow has about 15,000 volunteers willing to help the police.Leonid Makurov, head of the Moscow committee for Cossack affairs, said that about 50 Cossacks will patrol every administrative district in early 2013.

 Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin has fired Sergey Baydakov, head of the Central Administrative District of Moscow, and Vladimir Silkin, head of the Northern Administrative District.Victor Fauer, former prefect of the South-Western District, will replace Baydakov and Vladislav Bazanchuk, deputy prefect of the Western Administrative District, will replace Silkin.Baydakov was in office in 2003-2008 and since 2010. He used to be a deputy of Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov.

 Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said that the 71st anniversary of the military parade on November 7, 1941, has been marked with a military march on the Red Square.The mayor called defenders of Moscow a pride and glory of Russia and an example for future generations. Only about a thousand veterans of the Great Patriotic War arrived for the parade. 57 of them took part in the legendary parade, 36 were present at the marking.

 Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin has ordered investigation of shooting during a wedding in Moscow to be concluded, ITAR-TASS reports.The mayor demanded all hooligans to be punished.The police stopped a wedding convoy on the crossing of the Mokhovaya and Tverskaya Streets at the center of Moscow on October 30. Some people invited to the wedding were shooting in the air. About 15 people were detained.

The most successful ones are Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin, governors Yevgeny Savchenko (Belgorod Region), Sergey Shoygu (Moscow outskirts), Victor Basargin (Perm Territory), Alexander Khudilaynen (Karelia), Alexander Kobylkin (Yamalo-Nenetsk), Valery Radayev (Saratov Region) and Alexander Drozdenko (Leningrad Region).
