The U.S. has struck more than 5,500 targets inside Iran, including dozens of naval vessels and missile facilities, as part of the ongoing operation, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) Commander Adm. Brad Cooper said.
U.S. forces on Tuesday sunk several Iranian ships, including 16 minelayers, near the Strait of Hormuz, according to the U.S. Central Command.
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said Monday that all 11 Iranian vessels operating in the Gulf of Oman have been destroyed.
