The memorandum on mutual understanding in constructing the Turkey-Greece-Italy pipeline, transporting Azerbaijani gas to Europe, has been signed in Ankara, Turkey. According to the Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Tanner Yildyz, construction should be completed in 2017, the pipeline will supply 11.6 billion cubic m of gas annually, ANS reports.
Turkey has increased the price of gas bought in Azerbaijan within theframework of the Stage-1 development of the 'Shakh-Deniz' project,1news.az reports, citing the Turkish newspaper 'Sabakh'. The explosion at the gas pipeline Mozdok-Kazimagomed in Dagestan didnot affect Azerbaijani gas exports to Russia, the State Oil Company ofAzerbaijan (SOCAR) said on Friday, Trend reports.The daily export of Azerbaijani gas to Russia is around 2.5-3 millioncubic meters.
