He explained that the two heads of state agreed to meet during a phone call on October 7, which Peskov described as positive and constructive.
The Kremlin spokesman added that the leaders of Russia and Azerbaijan will discuss challenging topics during their talks.
Yesterday, Dmitry Peskov announced that the high-level Russian-Azerbaijani negotiations would take place on Thursday, October 9. Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev will hold talks in Dushanbe.
