Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will pay a state visit to Kazakhstan on October 20-21 at the invitation of his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The Azerbaijani head of state will arrive in Astana for the two-day visit, according to a statement from Akorda.
During the visit, the two leaders will hold top-level negotiations, participate in a session of the Supreme Interstate Council, and attend a Kazakh-Azerbaijani business forum, Sputnik Kazakhstan reported.
This visit follows the trip made by Kazakh leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Azerbaijan on March 11, 2024, which resulted in the signing of strategic partnership agreements between the two countries.
