Georgia is not someone's colony, where anyone can arrange everything according to their own ideas, the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, said, commenting on the tightening of the grants law.
"Who are they asking here about funding policies without the Georgian people's consent? Let them ask the Georgian people whether this is good for them or not",
Shalva Papuashvili said.
He emphasized that the so-called "Molotov cocktail" campaign, financed by the EU, is an example of funding for undesirable purposes.
"If the EU spends money to burn a person alive and proclaim it a good deed, to advertise it, what should we expect? Will anything be done for the benefit of Georgia?",
the Speaker of Parliament said.
