Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held a phone call on Monday to discuss trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation, the Kremlin said.
The two leaders agreed to intensify bilateral contacts at various levels.
"They agreed to further intensify bilateral relations at various levels," the statement reads.
During the phone talks, the heads of state discussed a number of topical issues concerning economic, trade, and humanitarian cooperation.
